This terrace in North Sydney was completely reimagined to create a light-filled, modern family home while respecting its historic character.

The original front façade was preserved, but the rear of the house was demolished and extended to add a spacious open-plan living and kitchen area, two new bedrooms, and an additional bathroom and laundry. Every room throughout the home was renovated, with modernised bathrooms and finishes that bring contemporary comfort while honouring the home’s heritage.

Seven new skylights were installed to flood the once-dark terrace with natural light, transforming it from a dim, confined house into a bright, inviting home with the best of both old and new.
